If you’ve not tried the medication before, start with the standard strength. If that does not manage the migraine completely, then you can use a high strength dosage of Sumatriptan or Zolmitriptan for future attacks.

Take one tablet with water, with or without food. You should take one dose when your migraine starts, then wait at least two hours before taking a second dose. Only take a second dose if you felt the effects of the first, otherwise it won’t provide relief. A maximum of 2 doses can be taken over a 24-hour period.
